This site is signed from the A96 Inveruie bypass. From the roundabout on the A96 take the road west from town to a car park where there is easy access to the site. New roads have been built so if you are coming from the town keep heading west towards Bernhervie.
The site is closely fenced in and you might well find several curious cows keeping you company from the fields next to it. This is an embanked ring and has been reinforced by some modern dry stone walling.
The stones are impressive and form a rough circle about 18m diameter, The large recumbent is 3.8m long and has 2.5m pillar stones as well as two large blocks at right angles to the recumbent. There are 12 stones standing surrounding an internal mound with a central hollow.
