This site is about 2 miles NE of Inveruie. Take the B9170 north towards Oldmeldrum and after a short distance turn right towards Kirkton. Take the next left and after a sharp bend the circle will be found ahead on the left close to the road. A sign near the circle says you cannot visit it if the field is in crop and as the field seemed to be in this state we didn’t.
You can see the huge recumbent and remaining standing stones from the edge of the field. The recumbent is the longest in Scotland being 5.2m long weighing around 30 tons.
