Kilmogue From Carlow take the N9 Waterford road south for about 25 miles. When you reach Mullinavat turn right and take the Hugginstown road. After a mile or so look for a dolmen sign and turn left and keep following the signs. This is an excellent example of a portal tomb with 2 very tall uprights about 3m high holding the large capstone, the back of which rests on a second capstone which forms a small rear chamber beneath it. There is a standing stone in a nearby field.
