On the A855 from Portree to Staffin park in the large layby just as you come to Loch Mealt and the turning for Kilt Rock viewpoint. From the parking area the circle is about 400m west over the peat moor. Once you go over or around the crag near the road the ground dips then rises again. The small circle will be found ahead among the heather on the high ground.
There are six small stones no higher than 0.45m (1.5ft) in a small ellipse measuring about 3.6x3m (12x10ft). In the center are three more small stones in a row. Two of these may originally have come from the circle as there seem to be two gaps in it.
