Chambered Tomb

On the way back from Na Clachan Bhreige towards Broadford there is a chambered tomb on the hillside beside the road just after a sharp bend. You can see the stones on the skyline as you approach.
Several stones still stand and you can make out the construction.
The tomb marked on the OS map in Broadford appears to have a recent housing development on top of it and we couldn’t see a trace of it.
We camped at a very good site on the way to Portree at NG 486 299 at the end of the sea loch called Sligachan. It is beside a stream with wonderful views of the mountains.
