Machrie Moor Stone Circles

This is a concentric circle with the inner ring made up of 8 large granite boulders, the tallest reaching 1.4 metres, there is also a fallen one. The outer circle has 15 smaller stones, the tallest at about 1 metre. 

This is a very attractive site with pleasant views towards the mountains and the tall stones of circles 2 and 3 visible ahead. The circle is about 60 ft (18m) diameter.

Walking on you come to a stile and ahead are a couple of information boards with details about the site.
