Troed
y Rhiw Return to the B4313 and turn left and continue to a crossroads. Turn right towards Cardigan and after a couple of miles you come to a telephone box beside a cattle grid. Park here and go through the gate on the left and walk up the track that is a footpath. Carry on for about 300m and the two remaining stones of this circle will be seen on the left about 75m from the path. It was getting quite thick fog when we visited and they took some finding as visibility was poor.
Only two stones remain, both about 4.5ft (1.3m) and they are leaning over. There is a standing stone a couple of hundred metres to the north that would be visible from the circle on normal weather conditions.
The two stones in the fog Carry on up the track and you will come to it on the right about 50m from the path. On our way back the fog cleared a little and you could see the circle from the stone.
The standing stone We couldn’t get to the circle called Waun Maun that is a short distance to the NE as there seems to be no access to it as it is in fields with no visible gate. The site is at SN 084 341 and we might try when the foot and mouth restrictions are lifted.
